Saphala Ekadashi: One of the twenty-four Ekadashi Vrats is Saphala Ekadashi. On this occasion, Lord Vishnu is worshiped just like other Ekadashis, and devotees seek blessings from him. The fast observed on this occasion can help fulfill all your wishes and bring you success.
Paush Amavasya: In Hinduism, Paush Amavasya has special significance. For people who are suffering from Pitra Dosha or Shani Dosha, Paush Amavasya is a crucial day for observing Shradh ceremonies for the deceased ancestors and forefathers.
Paush Putrada Ekadashi: It is believed that by worshiping Lord Vishnu, fasting and doing charity on this day, one gets the happiness of children and if one already has children, then their health and life are happy. The person observing this fast should keep his mind, words and deeds pure
Paush Purnima: It is a sacred Hindu festival with significance in its ritualistic holy dips in rivers to cleanse sins, the start of the Magha month's spiritual bathing period, and worship of deities like Shiva, Vishnu, and the Sun God. It is also a day for charitable acts and is known as Shakambhari Purnima, a day to honor Goddess Shakambhari.
The legend of Lord Vishnu worshipping Devi Laxmi:
The Brahma Vaivarta Purana mentions Lord Vishnu worshiping Goddess Lakshmi in her lotus form (Padma Rupa) during Paush month, particularly on Tuesdays, spreading the festival of Lakshmi Puja across the three worlds. The lotus signifies water, fertility, wealth, and the universe itself, making it a powerful symbol for Vishnu and Lakshmi, who are often depicted with lotuses. Paush often overlaps with or includes Purushottama Maas (Adhik Maas), an extra month dedicated to Vishnu. During this time, devotees worship Vishnu and Lakshmi intensely to burn sins and gain blessings.
All in all there are many festival fasts in Pausha maas. This month despite anything is also of importance to devotees to offer their prayers to the deities.
