A sacred fire ritual performed with mantras to purify the environment, remove negative energies, and invite peace, prosperity, and spiritual blessings.
The puja starts with Ganesh invocation, followed by chanting of mantras for health and prosperity. The priest sanctifies grains such as rice or kheer. Parents then feed the first morsel to the child amidst blessings from elders and guests.
The puja begins with Ganesh invocation, followed by Kalash Sthapana, chanting of Vishnu mantras, and recital of the Satyanarayan Katha. The ritual concludes with Aarti and Prasad distribution.
