About This Temple
Badrinath Temple is one of the most sacred Hindu shrines, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and forming a vital part of the Char Dham Yatra. Situated on the banks of the Alaknanda River in the Himalayas, the temple is believed to be the place where Lord Vishnu meditated under the Badri tree. Worship at Badrinath is said to grant moksha, spiritual purification, and divine blessings.
