Bhramari Shaktipeeth is a sacred Hindu temple believed to be one of the 51 Shakti Peethas — holy sites where parts of Goddess Sati’s body fell after Lord Vishnu’s Sudarshan Chakra dismembered her body following the Daksha Yagna. At this site, it is traditionally believed that the left leg of Goddess Sati fell, and the Goddess is worshipped as Bhramari Devi — an incarnation of the Divine Mother associated with bees (the word Bhramari means “the goddess of bees”), protection, inner healing, and eradication of negativity. Devotees visit this Shaktipeeth seeking spiritual strength, courage, and relief from mental and emotional distress
