A Grah-Shanti Hawan is a Vedic ritual performed to appease the Navagrahas (nine celestial bodies) and reduce the negative effects of planetary positions in a person's birth chart. The ceremony involves invoking Lord Ganesha and the nine planets, performing a havan (fire ritual) with offerings like grains and ghee while chanting mantras, and concluding with an aarti (waving of lamps). This puja is believed to bring good health, prosperity, peace, and success by removing obstacles and negative energy. Lord Ganesha is invoked first to remove obstacles, followed by the invocation of all the Navagrahas. Mantra Chanting: Pandits and devotees chant mantras for the nine planets, which are Surya (Sun), Chandra (Moon), Mangal (Mars), Budh (Mercury), Guru (Jupiter), Shukra (Venus), Shani (Saturn), Rahu, and Ketu.
