The Bhāgavata Purāṇa (also called Śrīmad Bhāgavatam) is one of the most revered of the eighteen Mahāpurāṇas and a foundational text of Bhakti Yoga. It glorifies Lord Vishnu, especially in His incarnation as Shri Krishna, and is considered a masterpiece of spiritual devotion, philosophy, and divine storytelling.
